Academy of Lifetime Learning Membership

The Academy for Lifetime Learning (A.L.L.) is an all-volunteer organization of individuals who share their interests and life experiences to provide a rich and varied menu of courses.

Members come from a variety of backgrounds but all share a common interest in continued learning experiences. Many take an active role in preparing and delivering the courses presented each semester; anyone with special knowledge or interest is encouraged to share that passion with other members in a classroom setting.

Joining A.L.L. is as easy as mailing in the membership fee ($25 each semester). That fee entitles each member to enroll in as many classes as he or she desires. Semesters are held in the fall (starting in September) and late winter (beginning in February).

An annual meeting is held each June to afford members an opportunity to meet and get to know each other better. Our scholarship winners are presented at this meeting as well.

Academy for Lifetime Learning operates on a non-profit basis, with the membership fee going to pay the limited expenses of the organization and the remaining dollars given each spring to Eastern Shore high school graduates continuing their education.
