Welcome to Our 2026 Fall Semester
Classes will be held at Eastern Shore Community College as well as at other locations in the community. All class venues are noted in the class descriptions in the online course catalog.
Follow the instructions below either to complete your registration online or to mail it in.
ONLINE REGISTRATION (RECOMMENDED)*
If you wish to both register and pay online:
- Fill in the registration form below.
- Before submitting the form, check the Schedule page to make sure none of the classes you wish to take overlap with one another.
- Submit the form and pay online with your credit or debit card. (Please Note: PayPal is the processor we use, but you do not need to have a PayPal account to process a payment with your regular credit or debit card there.)
*Registration is not complete until we receive payment. PayPal notifies us immediately when they successfully process a payment that you’ve made to us. We recommend online payment to avoid the delay involved with mail-in payments. If, during the time before your check arrives, paid registrations are received online, those students are placed on the official class roster ahead of you. If the roster fills with paid registrations before your check arrives, you are moved to the waiting list for the class.

If you prefer either to register and pay by mail or to pay by mail even though you registered online:
- Download and print a copy of the mail-in registration form for the 2026 fall semester.
- Before completing the form, check the Schedule page to make sure that none of the courses you wish to take overlap with one another.
- As soon as possible, mail in:
- the completed form
- a check made payable to The Academy for Lifetime Learning covering the non-refundable $30.00 semester membership fee plus any material fees applicable to the course(s) you’ve chosen.
- If you want to make a donation to the scholarship fund, include the donation in the total amount of your check.
- Mail the completed form and check to: The Academy for Lifetime Learning, P.O. Box 509, Exmore, VA 23350.
**If you choose to mail in your payment, please send that payment as soon as possible after submitting the registration form. Class-size limits are noted in the catalog descriptions, and the number of seats still available at any time is shown on the online registration form itself. However, since your registration is not complete until payment is actually received, despite the fact that a seat was available when you looked online, each paid registration that comes in before your check arrives moves you closer to the bottom of the roster. Once the roster is filled with paid registrations, you are moved to the waiting list.
